Robots Help in Space

English · level A2 · for children · 4 min read

The robots explore space together as friends.

Zed looked out from the scout drone's window at the sparkling stars. She saw colours that shone in the dark sky like jewels. Ivy worked on the control panels carefully to keep the ship safe. Milo, the heavy lifter, carried boxes full of tools for repairs.

Aura sat near the window, her screen showing maps of the colourful cosmos. She smiled and told the friends where they could go next. The robots chatted about the lovely places they had seen so far. They enjoyed the quiet space around them and the feeling of adventure.

Zed flew outside the ship for a closer look at a blue planet. Ivy stayed near to help him if he needed it. Milo and Aura watched happily from inside the ship. They all felt strong and happy together, ready to explore more.

The ship breaks and the robots cannot move.

Suddenly, the ship stopped moving in the middle of the bright galaxy. Zed looked at the control screens and saw strange signals. "We cannot move now," Zed said with a worried voice. Ivy checked the engines and found a problem with the power system.

Milo tried to push some buttons to help, but nothing happened. Aura looked out of the window and saw colourful light stars shining. "We must fix the ship soon," Aura said quietly. The team stood together, feeling tense and unsure what to do.

Ivy opened her toolbox and started to work on the broken parts. Zed scanned around for clues to understand the problem better. Milo helped Ivy by holding tools and giving advice. They all hoped their team work would save the day.

They try to fix the ship but it does not work.

Zed looked at the broken engine with worry in his eyes. Ivy tried to fix the wires carefully but nothing happened. Milo moved heavy parts around, hoping to find a problem. Aura checked the control boards but the screens stayed dark.

The robots worked together all through the long night. They spoke softly about what might be wrong with the ship. Ivy said, "I think the power flow is low, but I can't find why." Milo said, "The engine looks okay, maybe the fuel is empty."

Zed flew around, looking for damage outside the ship. Aura studied maps and plans, hoping to see something missed. The sun rose, but the ship still could not move. Tired and sad, the robots sat down and looked at each other.

Aura finds a way to fix the ship with the team's help.

Aura looks carefully at the ship's broken parts. She says, "I see a way to fix the engine." Zed flies around to find useful materials. Ivy prepares her tools ready to work fast.

Milo lifts heavy pieces to clear the broken engine. Aura gives instructions clearly and kindly. Everyone listens and helps without any fuss. They all work together, each doing their part.

Aura finds a strong wire from the control panel. Ivy connects it while Milo holds parts steady. Zed checks for loose nuts and bolts. Slowly, the engine starts to make small sounds again.

The robots celebrate as the ship moves again and they continue exploring.

The ship started to move again and the robots felt happy. Zed flew around the room, his lights flashing bright. Ivy smiled and checked the ship's systems carefully. Milo lifted a heavy box and then helped Aura fix the last cable.

Aura smiled at her friends and said, "We did it together!" The four friends laughed and felt very proud. They looked out of the window and saw colourful stars shining. The cosmos was beautiful, and they were ready to explore more.

They sat together and planned their next adventure. Zed said, "I want to find a new space flower." Ivy wanted to repair a broken satellite. Milo hoped to lift something very heavy in the next place.

Aura promised to guide them quietly and well. The robots felt happy to be a strong team. They went on exploring the wide, colourful cosmos together. Their friendship was their greatest strength on every journey.
