Production notes
Every story starts as a cast and a setting. Those are drawn once, then used as reference for every picture in the story, so the characters stay themselves from beginning to end.
The cast
Ned the wise wizard
Human male with a tall, slender build, wearing a deep blue robe embroidered with silver stars, a pointed hat, and thin round spectacles. He has a long white beard and carries a wooden staff topped with a glowing crystal ball.

The setting
A mysterious medieval castle where wizards guard secrets and teach magic.
A sprawling medieval stone castle with tall turrets and shadowy corridors, lit by flickering torches casting warm amber glows and deep shadows. Ancient stone walls covered in worn tapestries hang in vast dimly lit halls. Mist curls through narrow windows overlooking jagged cliffs under a brooding grey sky. Secret doors and hidden passages interlace through the labyrinthine interior, filled with arcane artefacts and dusty tomes. The castle exudes an aura of age, mystery, and latent magic.
