Production notes
Every story starts as a cast and a setting. Those are drawn once, then used as reference for every picture in the story, so the characters stay themselves from beginning to end.
The cast
Fay the wise mountain wizard
an elderly human with a long white beard and flowing blue robes decorated with silver stars, wearing a tall pointed hat with a crescent moon emblem
Sounds calm and measured.
Tarn the young fire wizard
a stout dwarf with bright red hair and a bushy beard, dressed in red and orange robes that flicker like flames, carrying a staff topped with a glowing ember
Sounds fiery and quick.
Mira the nimble air wizard
a slender elf with pale skin and short silver hair, clothed in light grey robes that flutter as if caught in a breeze, eyes shining like the sky
Sounds soft and swift.
Bram the silent earth wizard
a tall orc with dark green skin and thick muscles, wearing rough brown robes with patches of moss, holding a heavy wooden staff encrusted with stones
Sounds deep and rumbling.
The setting
An elemental wizard stronghold carved into a misty mountain summit.
A massive, ancient mountain crowned with a broad stone fortress carved directly into the rock, featuring towering spires and narrow battlements. The fortress glows faintly with elemental magic — fiery reds flicker near the molten lava-flow terraces, crystalline blues shimmer around icy obsidian walls, verdant greens pulse from hanging gardens perched on craggy ledges, and swirling greys gather near storm-weathered towers. Mist rolls through carved paths and jagged cliffs, and the high peaks pierce the bright sky, casting long shadows during the golden sunset.
