Production notes
Every story starts as a cast and a setting. Those are drawn once, then used as reference for every picture in the story, so the characters stay themselves from beginning to end.
The cast
Max the brave knight
a tall human male with short brown hair, wearing silver plate armour with a blue cape, carrying a broad sword
Sounds deep and steady.
Ella the clever knight
a slender human female with long blonde hair tied back, wearing light chainmail and a green tunic, holding a slender rapier
Sounds clear and quick.
Gorn the loyal squire
a young human male with curly black hair, dressed in simple brown leather armour, carrying a small shield and a short spear
Sounds young and eager.
Sir Rook the wise old knight
an older human male with a white beard and bald head, clad in worn dark armour with a crimson cloak, holding a heavy war hammer
Sounds slow and gravelly.
The setting
A misty medieval castle setting for four knights' mystery.
A sprawling medieval stone castle perched atop a mist-shrouded hill, its towering grey walls and turrets casting long shadows in the fading twilight. Narrow arrow slits punctuate the thick walls, while flickering torchlight spills onto flagstone courtyards scattered with autumn leaves. Inside, dimly lit wooden corridors echo with distant footsteps and the subtle clinking of armour, the air heavy with the scent of damp stone and old parchment.
