← Le mystère du château brumeux
Production notes
Every story starts as a cast and a setting. Those are drawn once, then used as reference for every picture in the story, so the characters stay themselves from beginning to end.
The cast
Luc the brave knight
a tall human male, silver armour with blue accents, short brown hair, a small golden lion emblem on his chest plate
Sounds strong and confident.
Éloïse the skilled archer
a slender human female, green leather armour, long red hair tied in a braid, a quiver of arrows on her back with feather patterns
Sounds clear and calm.
Gaston the wise old knight
an elderly human male, rusty bronze armour, white beard and hair, round spectacles resting on his nose, a wooden cane in hand
Sounds slow and gentle.
Mireille the swift messenger
a young human female, light chainmail with red scarf, short black hair, small gloves, carrying a scroll pouch
Sounds quick and bright.
The setting
A misty medieval castle sheltering four loyal knight companions.
A sprawling medieval stone castle with towering grey walls and narrow arrow slits, dimly lit by flickering torches casting long shadows in the winding corridors. The courtyard is paved with worn cobblestones, bordered by ivy-covered ramparts. Mist curls around the battlements under a pale, muted twilight sky, lending an eerie atmosphere.
